SCALE ARCHITECTURAL MODELS OF SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA

Designed and built by Russell W. Higginbotham

This is an overview of models I have produced over the years representing historical structures in my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana. These were built between 2000-2019 and show progress both technologically and in the level of execution. Some models are photographic representations digitally manipulated, printed and built into a physical 3D format. Others are designed using illustration software and created on a laser engraver; then constructed, finished and painted to the highest level of detail and realism. Attention to architectural styles and accurate representation of details and embellishments is our hallmark.

The magic of computer technology makes all of these models reproducible, and they can be easily rescaled to fit the criteria of any project. We can create entire scenes and cities for displays, dioramas and operating exhibits. We specialize in recreating historical scenes and civic displays with an emphasis on railroad and architectural history. Contact us for more information.
